Awards Ceremonies, three consecutive years

For two years the Commodore Ballroom was the setting for the 'Ethics in Action' award shows.

Create Your Own Events designed two completely original shows for the 2001 and 2002 seasons. In 2001, we created a Canadian-styled talk show. The Award show was a huge success and the evening became one of the most dynamic and innovative in the awards' eight year history.

In 2002 the board of directors decided on a more subdued approach. After careful planning, 'Stories on Stage' was created to allow for longer, more in depth interviews with the award recipients. The award show was well received and the audience enjoyed the heart-felt stories shared by the recipients.

In 2003 the awards program moved to the Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina. Here Create Your Own Events was privileged to design and coordinate the 10th Anniversary Award Show, hosted by Global's Kevin Newman.
